This policy explains what information Run Dino Run processes when you play the game, submit a score or browse the website.
Information we process
- Leaderboard data: the nickname you choose, score, country code and submission time.
- Country: a country code may be inferred from the connection IP so the score can appear in Country Battle. The public leaderboard does not show a precise location.
- Technical data: server logs may include IP address, browser, device, requested page, referring page and access time for security and troubleshooting.
- Game verification: technical values used to check that a submitted run is plausible and reduce automated or manipulated scores.
- Analytics: Google Analytics may process device, interaction and traffic information to help us understand site usage and performance.
How information is used
We use this information to operate the game and public leaderboards, calculate country rankings, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, measure site performance and improve the player experience.
Public information
A submitted nickname, country flag, score and submission date may be displayed publicly. Do not enter your real name, email address or other personal information as a nickname. Inappropriate names, contact details and URLs may be filtered or replaced.
Cookies and browser storage
The site may use local storage, service-worker cache and cookies for preferences, game functionality, analytics and security. See the Cookie Policy for details and available choices.
Third-party services
Services such as Google Analytics and infrastructure providers may process technical information under their own privacy terms. External links, including links to sister projects, lead to sites with their own policies. We do not sell leaderboard data.
Retention and removal
Leaderboard entries may remain until a monthly reset, moderation action or technical cleanup. Server and security logs are retained only as long as reasonably needed for operations and abuse prevention. You may request removal of a leaderboard entry by sending the nickname, score and approximate submission date through the contact page.
Children
The game is available to a general audience and does not require an account. Players should not submit personal information in a nickname. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us so it can be reviewed and removed.
Updates
We may update this policy when the site or its services change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
